Restaurants

Holiday décor that works as hard as your property

Holiday parties, family dinners, and date nights all pick up at once in December, and a restaurant's exterior and patio are often the first thing a guest sees before they decide to walk in. We install roofline and window-trim lighting, entrance trees, and patio string lighting for restaurants across South-Western Ontario and the western GTA, scheduling every install after close or before opening so lunch and dinner service are never interrupted. Our crews are fully insured and WSIB-compliant, with the ladders and lifts to reach signage and rooflines your kitchen and front-of-house staff shouldn't be climbing.

Because most restaurants are a single location with a tighter holiday budget than a hotel or mall, we scope every job around what actually gets noticed from the sidewalk and the parking lot rather than over-decorating areas guests never see. Design, installation, mid-season maintenance, January takedown, and optional storage are all part of one quote, so there's no separate vendor for lights, another for the wreath on the door, and a third for takedown in the new year. Every quote follows a quick site visit or a look at photos of your storefront and patio.

What we install for restaurants

  • Roofline and window-trim lighting for the storefront
  • Lit trees flanking the main entrance
  • Wreaths and bows on the door and above the sign or awning
  • String lighting for an outdoor patio or heated dining tent
  • Garland along the host stand, patio rail, or window boxes
  • Accent lighting for a parking lot or curbside pickup area
  • A small lit tree or garland for the host stand or waiting area
  • Timer-controlled displays that run through late-night closing and early opening

Why it pays

The décor that fills the reservation book

Office parties, family holiday dinners, and last-minute date nights all need somewhere to go in December, and a restaurant with a warm, lit exterior gets noticed by people driving or walking past who weren't already planning to stop. A patio that still looks inviting under string lighting can keep outdoor seating usable later into the season, and a good-looking entrance photo travels on its own once guests start tagging your restaurant online.

Installed around service, not during it

Nobody on your kitchen or front-of-house team should be up on a ladder stringing lights over the entrance during a dinner rush. Our crews are fully insured and WSIB-compliant, and we schedule installation after close or before your doors open so there's no impact on seating, deliveries, or staff parking. If a bulb or strand fails mid-season, mid-season maintenance fixes it at no extra cost.

One invoice built for a single-location budget

A restaurant doesn't need the scale of a mall program, but the same principle applies: buying lights, storing them over the summer, and finding someone to take them down in January adds up in time even if it doesn't in dollars. One quote covers design, installation, mid-season maintenance, takedown, and optional storage, so your holiday décor is one line item and one phone call instead of a checklist your manager has to run every year.

FAQ

Restaurants: questions we get asked

Can you install without affecting our dinner service?

Yes. We schedule restaurant installations after close or before your doors open for the day, so there's no ladder work happening near guests, no blocked entrances during service, and no interruption to deliveries or parking. Most single-location storefronts and patios are finished in one visit, and we can work around a specific closing day if your kitchen needs advance notice.

Will lights on the patio interfere with our heaters or power outlets?

We design around your existing patio power and heater setup, using CSA/UL-rated cords and timers that run alongside what's already there rather than competing for the same outlet. During the site visit we'll flag if your patio needs a separate circuit for string lighting, but for most restaurant patios the existing exterior outlets are enough.

How far in advance should we book for the holiday party season?

Booking opens in late summer, and our installation calendar fills by mid-November, so restaurants hoping to have their patio and entrance lit before the office-party rush in early December should confirm by mid-October. Lights can go up unlit and get switched on whenever you want your season to officially start.

Is this affordable for a single-location restaurant, or is it only for big chains?

Commercial jobs are custom-quoted after we see your storefront and patio, so the scope, and the price, matches a single restaurant rather than a multi-property chain. Many restaurant owners start with just the entrance and window trim in year one and add the patio or a tree the following season once they've seen how it performs.
