Most garages have a bin, or several, of tangled lights, half-working strands and cords nobody wants to sort through in October. Our storage service takes that off your hands entirely. When we take your lights down in January, we catalog every strand rather than tossing everything into a single box, so we know exactly what you own, where each piece was used on your home, and what condition it is in when it goes into storage for the year.
Between seasons, strands sit in our inventory rather than your rafters, and when booking opens again in late summer, we already know what needs replacing before your next install even begins. Storage costs from $100 per season and pairs naturally with our Full Season Holiday Service, though you can add it on to a standalone installation or takedown as well. It is a small cost against the garage space, and the hassle, of managing bins of lights yourself every year.

Storage begins the moment your lights come down. Rather than coiling everything into a garbage bag, our crew separates strands by type and location on your home, so the roofline lighting, tree wraps and any decorative pieces are tracked individually. That inventory record follows your strands into storage and comes back out again the following October or November when we schedule your next installation, meaning we already know what is in good shape and what might need swapping before it goes back on your home.
Storage starts from $100 per season, which covers cataloging, secure storage space, and the inspection we do before your lights go back up the following year. The exact cost can depend on how much lighting you have, a Classic roofline-only display takes up less space than a full Griswold-tier property with trees, shrubs and a wreath included, and whether you are storing decorating pieces like wreaths and garland alongside the lights. We confirm the storage cost alongside your takedown or full-season quote before anything is booked.
Before we bring your lights back for the next season, we run a pre-install inspection, checking for bulbs that failed while in storage, connectors that have loosened, and cords that show wear from a full winter of use the year before. Anything that needs replacing gets flagged and, when needed, swapped as part of your next installation, so you are not the one discovering a dead strand halfway up a ladder in November. That is entirely your choice. Storage is optional, and if you would rather keep your lights at home between seasons, we simply hand everything back to you after takedown, cataloged and boxed the same careful way we would package it for our own storage inventory, ready for you to store yourself.
